Google’s Self Driven Cars Gets Its License
DMV officials rode along on self driven Google’s car for a ride on the state of Nevada highways, including Carson City neighborhoods and not to mention the Las Vegas Strip, the Nevada DMV said.
Nevada legislature authorized self-driven cars for the state’s roads last year, the first such law in the United States. That law went into effect on March 1, 2012.
Google’s self driven cars require the help of video cameras, radar sensors, lasers, and a database of information collected from manually driven cars to help navigate, according to the company.
